The Big Red Pen
The big red pen is coming out this week to mark down prices on, well, many things. We are giving our store another facelift soon (spring cleaning, anyone?) and making room for the new goods coming in. If you've been eyeing a particular chair or table, dress or necklace, stop in this week to get your bargain-loving little hands on it before it's gone!
We're getting pumped to celebrate the fresh look with an open house, so stay tuned.

Style Inspiration: The Like
The Like are a California retro-rock band of vintage and thrift store-obsessed rock royalty babes with a penchant for bouffants, bangs, and saddle shoes. Think: Beatlemania + Blythe doll + Nancy Sinatra. It's no wonder they're favorites of style beacons like Refinery29 and BFF Alexa Chung.
Their mod look - influenced by other stylish musicians from The Ronettes and Carol Kaye to Dressy Bessy and April March - pairs with their 60s sound. Eyeing pics of these women is like flipping through a lookbook of our favorite It Girl styles. Is it miniskirt season yet?

Spring Style Inspiration
Some shots of spring/transitional style we love.
Via Ashley Ording (a.k.a. Fancy Fine), Cali Vintage, Refinery29, SFStyle, Life Magazine circa 1969, Urban Weeds |
We're getting psyched to put out the new and vintage spring clothing and accessories and layering them for the transitional weather (whenever that's supposed to happen...) Vintage cardigan over a retro-style house dress, a mod shift dress over leggings, a modern top paired with a flowy skirt, a miniskirt and a chunky sweater... What are your favorite fair-weather styles?
