What We're Loving: Whitewashed Midcentury Furniture

We've been seeing a lot of whitewashed midcentury pieces popping up again lately and we've got to say - it's awesome. The clean, linear look is a great backdrop (or focal point) to add to a minimalist or vintage-inspired room. It carries dual use: a blank canvas and a fabulous piece of design which draws attention.

A previous FOUND project

Here at Found we have done this so many times in different capacities (see chairs) but what we're doing this month is bringing it to some very particularly midcentury dressers and bureaus. We are in phase one of the project and cannot wait until it's finished! We'll have "after" pics up this week.

In the meantime we thought we'd share with you some design inspiration and "before" pics.

Tell us - what are you thoughts on this look? Where would you take it? What sort of surroundings would you display it with? What would you add?
